JACKSON, Miss. (THN News) - Hattiesburg News can confirm there are at least 6 people running in the special election to replace retired Senator Juan Barnett in Senate District 34.
Those 6 candidates include:
Daryl McKines Jr.
Ken Keyes
Tiffany Anne Lindsey
Johnny DuPree
Bruce Pilgrim
Nellie Satcher
The special election will take place on Tuesday, December 22, 2026. Whoever wins will serve until January 2028.
