About the event
The City Celebration is an annual event celebrating Hattiesburg's 142nd Birthday featuring 2 live entertainment stages on both ends of Duncan Lake and a host of vendors, small businesses and organizations. A fun kids zone in the middle of the park (main parking lot) full of games, fun and excitement.
The event kicks off with a fun parade featuring local businesses, organizations, and leaders marching down the newly created River Street ending at Duncan Lake, a beautiful parade showcasing Hattiesburg's rich history as well as it's promising future.
The event ends with Fireworks over the Lake, one of the biggest and most exciting fireworks shows the city has ever seen.
