Cowboys 34, Texans 30
ARLINGTON, Texas — It was billed as a premier interconference showdown, but it ultimately turned into the Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb show. The Dallas Cowboys escaped a massive scare Sunday afternoon, rallying late to defeat the winless Houston Texans 34-30 and deny them their first victory of the season.
For most of the afternoon, Houston looked primed for an upset. Instead, Prescott took the field for the final drive like a man on a mission. He marched the Cowboys down the field by repeatedly targeting Lamb, who put together a monster performance with 17 receptions for 189 yards, culminating in the game-winning touchdown catch.
If Prescott can maintain this explosive chemistry with his elite tandem of Lamb and George Pickens, this Dallas air attack will be nearly impossible to stop down the stretch. As for Houston, they must quickly regroup before heading into a desperate Week 6 clash against the winless Tennessee Titans.
Patriots 29, Bills 26
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — In a high-stakes AFC East heavyweight battle, the New England Patriots proved they still run through the division, outlasting the Buffalo Bills 29-26 in a game that came down to the absolute wire.
All eyes were on Patriots quarterback Drake Maye, who silenced weeks of mounting outside noise with a gritty, career-defining performance. Maye played his best football of the 2026 season, slicing through the Buffalo defense for 269 yards and three touchdowns against just one interception.
The play of the day came on a gorgeous, go-ahead touchdown dime to Efton Chism III, who rose up to snag the ball directly over controversial Bills defensive back C.J. Gardner-Johnson.
While New England still has some defensive wrinkles to iron out before they can be crowned true Super Bowl contenders, Sunday was a massive statement. Buffalo drops a tough one, but NFL nation knows this resilient Bills squad will be just fine.
Rams 24, Eagles 20
LOS ANGELES — Another week, another existential crisis for the Philadelphia Eagles. The same haunting questions continue to swirl around Nick Sirianni’s squad: Can Jalen Hurts and this offense overcome their self-inflicted wounds to make another Super Bowl run?
Sunday’s dismal 24-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams provided no answers. Hurts was thoroughly suffocated by the LA pass rush, failing to eclipse the 100-yard passing mark while being dropped for four sacks. To make matters worse, dynamic wideout Devonta Smith was a late scratch, and superstar running back Saquon Barkley exited the game with an injury.
Meanwhile, the Rams proved they can win ugly. Sean McVay's squad relied on a gritty, physical defensive effort to stymie Philly, while sophomore sensation Puka Nacua provided the offensive spark, torching the Eagles secondary for nine catches and 125 yards.
Philly fans are praying for a late-November turnaround, but right now, the Rams look like the team built for January.

Falcons 34, Saints 17
NEW ORLEANS — There is simply nothing in professional sports that replicates the pure, unadulterated hatred of the Falcons-Saints rivalry. On Monday night, the Atlanta Falcons didn't just walk into the Caesars Superdome and secure a crucial divisional road win—they completely sucked the air out of the building.
Atlanta’s defense set the tone early, forcing quick turnovers that gift-wrapped momentum for the offense. From there, it was the Bijan Robinson show. The star running back battered the New Orleans front seven all night, racking up 145 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries.
The Falcons' young nucleus of Michael Penix Jr., Robinson, and Drake London looks completely locked in, operating at a terrifyingly efficient level even while the secondary misses key pieces.
Conversely, the Saints got punched in the mouth on national television, leaving their home crowd embarrassed. New Orleans will have plenty of time to stew on this blowout, but you can bet payback will be the only thing on their minds when these two teams meet for the rematch.
