House breaks out on fire on West 4th Street

Hattiesburg, MS- Monday, January 27, Hattiesburg Fire Department responded to a call of a house on fire on West 4th Street. According the officials, they received a 911 call of a person trapped inside of a house that was on fire.

There were no injuries. There was extensive content damage. The fire broke out in a bedroom. According to the tenants, the fire was caused by a shortage in the AC unit. The landlords were witnessed on the scene.

According to Hattiesburg Fire Department, the fire is officially under investigation.
