College Student Football Player Dead In Mississippi

According to officials, a local college football player in Mississippi is dead. Ryan Quinney, a college football star at Mississippi Valley State University was killed Saturday, November 8, 2024.

Mississippi Valley State University put out a statement Saturday, November 9, 2024 which reads:

"We are heartbroken to share that our beloved student, Ryan Quinney, tragically lost his life in a car accident last night. Ryan was a bright light in our community with a spirit that lifted everyone around him. He will be deeply missed by his friends, faculty, and all who knew him."
