CLEVELAND, OH (THN News)- The Cleveland Browns are trading their number 2 quarterback Kenny Pickett and keeping Shedeur Sanders, the heir apparent hometown favorite before Tuesday's deadline of cutting rosters down to only 53 players per team.
According to Adam Schefter, "Trade: Browns are sending QB Kenny Pickett to the Las Vegas Raiders for a fifth-round pick, per sources.
Raiders needed another backup for Geno Smith with QB Aidan O'Connell fracturing his wrist in the preseason finale and being expected to miss 6-8 weeks."
This is a developing story.
